Fashion forward: Vogue magazine's former pattern factory is now industrial-style flats

Pattern House in Clerkenwell earned its name from its past incarnation as a pattern factory for Vogue magazine.

The building, which was also once a warehouse for Ingersoll watches, was bought by publisher Condé Nast in the Fifties.

These days it is home to industrial-style flats and the latest one on the market is worthy of a fashion shoot, with exposed brickwork, original steel girders, big Crittall windows and iron radiators.

The open-plan master bedroom ensuite resembles a modern Moroccan hammam, while an oversize hammock spans the living room.

As well as the 2,000 sq ft of internal space, there is a shared roof garden with panoramic views across the city.
