Nottinghamshire Police said the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, would appear before magistrates in Nottingham later today accused of killing Jacqueline Bartlam.

Ms Bartlam was found dead in the early hours of Easter Monday after a house fire in Georgia Drive, Redhill, Nottingham.

A police spokesman said a cordon remained in place around the fire-damaged property, although a wider cordon in the surrounding area has since been lifted.
