90 free tickets to visit the London 2012 Olympic Stadium

5 April 2012

The London 2012 Open Weekend - supported by BP - will see events held across the UK between 24 and 26 July that allow the public to try a new sporting or cultural activity or to gain access to landmarks or parts of venues not normally open to the public.

To celebrate Open Weekend, London 2012 are opening up the Olympic Stadium on Sunday 26 July 2009 for an exclusive first-hand view of the construction progress achieved to date. Be one of the first members of the public to stand in the Olympic Stadium.

Visitors will have the opportunity to access the viewing platform in South Stand of the Olympic Stadium and take part in a souvenir photograph that will be made available, free of charge, to each winner and their guest the week following the event. From the viewing platform, visitors will be able to see where the running track and field of play will be located and how construction is progressing. Guides will be on hand to discus the unique features of the Olympic Stadium that lies at the heart of the Olympic Park and the place where the eyes of the world will turn on 27 July 2012 as London's Opening Ceremony begins.

We have 45 pairs of tickets available for use on Sunday 26 July 2009. The visit will last one hour and an arrival time will be allocated in advance to each winner and their guest.
