Elvis Presley has broken a world record 25 years after his death by topping the charts for the 18th time.

Elvis has now had more Number Ones than any artist in the pop chart's 50-year history thanks to the remix of a forgotten track, A Little Less Conversation. He had held the record with The Beatles.

The remix has been made by a relatively unknown Dutch DJ, JXL. It has been A-listed by Radio 1, is the most played pre-released tune on national radio and is the soundtrack to the World Cup Nike advert featuring Eric Cantona. It was also on the soundtrack of Ocean's Eleven.

A Little Less Conversation first appeared in one of Elvis's movies and as the B-side to a 1968 single Almost In Love. The original version reached Number 69 in the US in 1968 and failed to enter the chart at all in Britain.
