A wizard treat... early entry to Harry Potter land

A handful of lucky Muggles were allowed to explore Harry Potter's magical world before the theme park's official opening.

The gates to a replica Hogwarts school, wizard village of Hogsmeade and shopping street Diagon Alley will not officially open until June 18.

But a limited number of visitors have for the last few days been allowed in for a "soft opening" to the £125million park in Orlando, Florida.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has been three years in the making and includes a thrill ride inside the Hogwarts castle, state-of-the art robotics and authentic Butterbeer - the drink of preference in JK Rowling's books.
