13 April 2012

Marc Almond is in a serious but "stable" condition today after his motorcycle accident. The 45-year-old singer and songwriter, best known for the Eighties' Soft Cell hit Tainted Love, had been fighting for his life following a crash on Sunday afternoon and underwent major surgery.

Almond was a pillion passenger when the bike collided with a car near Cannon Street.
