Amanda Holden has been secretly dating television presenter and actor Jamie Theakston after filming a comedy series with him.

But the relationship is out in the open after the pair were seen kissing passionately at a nightclub.

'They were all over each other,' according to one onlooker. 'They seemed absolutely smitten.'

Miss Holden, 32-year-old star of the hit series Cutting It, arrived at the trendy Century Club in central London on Wednesday hand-inhand with Theakston.

The presenter, also 32, has enjoyed an eventful love life and only last month was seen escorting Bond girl Rosamund Pike at a London theatre.

The couple, said to be looking 'blissfully happy,' then headed outside to the club's roof terrace. It

was while working on the forthcoming BBC comedy Eternal Rectangle that the two apparently became close.

It is not the first time Miss Holden has fallen for a co-star.

Back in 2000, she cheated on her husband of six years, comedian Les Dennis, with Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey.

The lovers had been filming the BBC drama Happy Birthday Shakespeare together.

The actress has since spoken publicly of her regret over the affair, which first exposed the problems in her marriage.

Dennis, 48, forgave her and they tried to rebuild their relationship. But at Christmas they announced that it was over.

When she appeared on the Parkinson show in May, Miss Holden said she still loved her husband, even though they had called in divorce lawyers, and that she phoned him every day.

She also claimed that she was off men, and planned to spend time with her women friends.

But since their parting she has been linked to a Danish pop star, Thomas Barsoe and a high-flying businessman, Chris Hughes.

And she has recently spoken of regaining control of her life after emerging from the break-up.

Earlier this month, launching the West End musical Thoroughly Modern Millie - in which she plays the title role of the feisty flapper - she said: 'The last 18 months have made me a stronger, tougher person.

'I was strong before, but now I'm doubly strong.'

Theakston is fast developing a reputation as a relentless Romeo.

His first celebrity conquest was All Saints star Natalie Appleton. The pair dated for 11 months.

He has been linked with Naima Belkhaiti, singer with girl band the Honeyz, TV presenters Beverly Turner and Melanie Sykes, and singer Mariah Carey.

He also had a long relationship with actress Joely Richardson, but they broke up earlier this year.

More recently, he was spotted smooching at a party with former Spice Girl Emma Bunton.

The one-time children's television presenter was also revealed to have had a drunken romp with three prostitutes in a Mayfair brothel.

Yesterday, just hours after partying with Theakston, Miss Holden was joking about being 'unlucky in love'.

At a charity awards ceremony at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital, she told a fouryearold who refused to kiss her: 'That seems to happen to me all the time at the moment.'
