Anzag may cost UniChem £200m

ALLIANCE UniChem wants to buy Germany's third-largest drugs wholesaler Andreae-Noris Zahn (Anzag) in a deal that could top £200m.

Deputy chief executive Geoff Cooper said today: 'We would like to bring Anzag within the Alliance UniChem group. Buying the whole thing is the preferred way.'

Alliance owns 29.99% of Anzag after paying £41.7m for a 19% holding last month.
