As many staff as a medium-sized firm
The review reveals in unprecedented detail the range of the prince's staff.
Charles, who has previously been accused of being "a pampered prince" has a total of 124 people working in his household, as many as a medium-sized company.
The mix of full and part-time staff is equivalent to 111.8 fulltime employees. The review shows that the official payroll costs ?3.213 million in salaries.
About three-quarters of the staff support him in his official duties and are paid mainly out of Duchy of Cornwall income and the rest are personal staff for himself, Prince William, Prince Harry and Mrs Parker Bowles.
In the past the prince has been accused of being overdependent on his retinue - it was even said, and denied, that he had a member of staff to squeeze the toothpaste on to his toothbrush.
He has the equivalent of 84 full-time staff, of which 17.6 work in his private secretary's office. There are a further 20.9 in his finance and administration office and eight in the communications team.
The biggest chunk of staff work in his senior equerry. They include 3.5 equerries, 4.2 programme and travel coordinators, two butlers, three chefs, two chauffeurs, 7.5 house managers and housekeepers, a valet, two staff in the orchard room, which he uses for official entertaining, 8.4 gardeners and estate workers and a garden tour administrator.
There are also three staff working full-time on charitable work. The roles of the 27.7 staff working for him in a personal capacity are not broken down.
