Barrymore ditched by ITV

ITV today confirmed it had "no plans" to commission any new shows from entertainer Michael Barrymore, following the inquest into the death of partygoer Stuart Lubbock in his swimming pool.The move effectively signals the end of his TV career.

A series of his show 'Kids say the funniest things', which was filmed earlier this year, will now never be shown.

Barrymore is currently out of the country.
