Ben Affleck says Jennifer Lopez can keep her £750,000 engagement ring.
Giving his first TV interview since one of the most famous couples in showbusiness split up, he denied reports he had talked to his former lover about what she would do with the 6.1 carat pink diamond Harry Winston ring.
He said: "I don't believe in expecting anything back."
The chisel-jawed actor also added that he felt "destroyed" after his movie with Jennifer, Gigli, bombed and they broke up.
But, he added, it taught him he "didn't have to be at the top of everyone's list careerwise, every movie doesn't have to work.
"It's not the end of the world."
