Benedict's into last 16

12 April 2012

Who can stop St Benedict's? The Ealing school became the first team into the last 16 of the Daily Mail Cup with a storming 43-13 win over Norwich.

The Standard's Super League leaders now face either Sevenoaks or Hurstpierpoint College, the Sussex team who are also having a brilliant season with recent wins over Eastbourne and Chichester.

Merchant Taylors' are on course for their best ever season, outdoing the 1933 team. They thumped Harrow 46-0, inflicted the only defeat on third-placed Mill Hill, and need one more win to clinch the record. But they have to play Epsom College, fourth in the Standard rankings.
