Bing bans ex from TV kiss-and-tell

Richard Simpson12 April 2012

Steve Bing has banned the girl he dumped Liz Hurley for from going on British TV live tomorrow morning to spill the beans on his love life.

Bing dated Brenda Swanson after he found out Hurley was pregnant, but he dumped her two weeks ago. Since then, she has been offered thousands of pounds by newspapers desperate for her to talk about Bing and Hurley's relationship. Last week a British tabloid paid her £50,000 for a phone interview.

Now Bing's lawyers have instructed ITV's This Morning that if Swanson goes on TV and reveals details of his love life, they will take legal action against the show. Its producers have pulled her off the schedule, after flying her from Los Angeles and putting her up in a five-star hotel.

Swanson, 39, told the Standard today: "I'm very disappointed. I was really looking forward to going on air and setting the record straight. It is obvious Steve feels he has something to hide."
