Brixton link to barrel killing

Police hunting the killer of a man found at the foot of Beachy Head today said he was murdered in Brixton before his body was dumped.

More than two months after the killing police have been unable to identify the victim, known as the "Body in the Barrel."

Officers said he was stabbed to death and his body forced into the barrel before being thrown over the cliff on January

16. A post mortem found cocaine in his blood.

DNA samples have now been matched to blood found last month at an address in Loughborough Road in Brixton.
