Business paper deal ended

THE Mail on Sunday is to stop distributing The Business weekly, owned by brothers Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay.

The Barclays have cut a deal with Lord (Conrad) Black to buy a controlling stake in Hollinger International, owner of the Daily and Sunday Telegraph.

Daily Mail and General Trust finance director Peter Williams said the timing was coincidental. DMGT has expressed an interest in the Telegraph titles.
