Calling wannabe Henmans

TENNIS 180

Catering to enthusiasts and people inspired to pick up a racket during Wimbledon fortnight, this new London-wide tournament has been developed by Nike with the backing of Andre Agassi.

Special shortened courts (17 in all) are being constructed on Clapham Common and entrants play a modified version of the game involving three minute-long doubles rounds.

To qualify for the next round, you have to score the most points. The finals, on Sat 28 Jun, have Wimbledon and Nike goodies as prizes.

Clapham Common by Clapham South Tube, SW4, Fri 27 Jun 5.30pm-10.30pm, Sat 28 Jun, 10am-9.30pm. Play is on a first-come, first-served basis
