Capital’s poorest die 17 years earlier

People in the richest parts of London live 17 years longer than those in the poorest areas, says a Government review.

In one part of Kensington, the average male life expectancy is 88 years, while in Tottenham Green it is 71.

The Fair Society, Healthy Lives report said the widening gap between affluent and working class areas was "unacceptable and unfair".
