In the last ten years, the number of obese adults in the UK has doubled, while cases of cancer and strokes are on the increase. In response to this, a new consumer show has been launched to offer the general public practical and trustworthy advice and health checks to help them live longer, healthier lives.

The Nutrition & Health Show, which will be held at London's Olympia on the 25th and 26th September 2004, brings together the country's leading professional health experts for the first time.

This is London readers are being offered a special 30 per cent discount to the event. Two tickets normally cost £18, but you could pre-book two for just £12.

Visitors will be able to test their cholesterol level, blood pressure, body fat measurements, fitness and blood sugar, then have the results analysed by registered dietitians in the Consultation Zone.

Get expert info on diabetes, hyperactivity and attention deficit, allergies, cancer, bone health and wheat intolerance.
