The 21-year-old has decided to cut short her gap year to fly to England to spend as much time as possible with Harry before he leaves in May.

Chelsy is currently in Buenos Aires with her brother Sean, having completed an action-packed trip to America and Rio de Janeiro.

She is due to head to New York with Sean in a week - but that visit may now prove a fleeting one.

A friend of Chelsy said: "She was planning to go to New York for a month for the last leg of her gap year, but now she will fly to London early to be with Harry.

"She knows Harry's six months in Iraq are going to be the biggest test yet of their relationship, so she wants to give it the best possible chance of surviving. She is missing him and wants some quality time with him.

"Harry also has two weeks' holiday he'll be able to take before going to war. It means they will get to spend some time together before he leaves."

Harry, 22, and Chelsy are used to being apart for long periods. She has always lived in South Africa while they have been dating and Harry has pursued his Army career.

But the pair will be much closer when Chelsy moves to England to read politics at Bristol University later this year.
