Christmas shoppers face a weekend of major Tube disruption

Docklands Light Railway: Will be suspended on Sunday morning until 11 am between Bow Church and Stratford

Tube passengers and Christmas shoppers face further major disruption this weekend with large parts of the network closed or part suspended.

The Circle and Hammersmith & City lines will line will be suspended all weekend. District line trains will not operate between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road. From 8.30pm Saturday until 1pm Sunday the District will not operate between Wimbledon and Putney Bridge.

Jubilee line services will be suspended on Sunday between Green Park and London Bridge until 11 am; the Metropolitan line will be suspended all weekend between Baker Street and Edgware.
Northern line trains will not run all weekend between Camden Town and Charing Cross.

The Waterloo & City line will not operate on Saturday - and is always closed on Sundays.
Large sections of London Overground will be closed. The Docklands Light Railway will be suspended on Sunday morning until 11 am between Bow Church and Stratford.

All closures are to enable large scale engineering work and construction of the new Crossrail link through London.
