Compare London GPs online

Patients in London will from today be able to access crucial information about their GP surgery and compare it with other practices.
The capital is the first city in Britain to launch the service. Each practice must publish data on 22 areas. Details include cervical screening rates; uptake of immunisation; number of people suffering asthma, diabetes, dementia and cancer; levels
of patient satisfaction; and one-year cancer survival rates for lung and breast cancer in each primary care trust. All 1,500 London surgeries will be on www.myhealth.london.nhs.uk
