Conservative leader David Cameron has unveiled his new look - a centre parting.

He revealed that he has changed his hairstyle from a side to a centre parting during Prime Minister's Questions.

And Communities Secretary Hazel Blears has also had a makeover as she is now sporting a flame red tint.

Cameron made his most noticeable hairstyle change last year when he changed from parting his hair on the right to parting it on the left.

At the time of the previous change his spokesman revealed that he did it after he took his children for a haircut and decided to have a trim himself, when the barber said his parting was on the wrong side.

Hair has proved to be a sensitive political issue.

There has long been speculation that Tony Blair had an advantage over Cameron's three predecessors, Michael Howard, Iain Duncan Smith and William Hague, because they were all bald.
