Degree that guarantees job... or a refund

Students on a degree course are being guaranteed a job within six months of graduating or they will get part of their money back.

A private university in London is also offering potential students an iPad 2 in a bid to tempt them to choose the course. Students at the London School of Business and Finance can choose courses in either financial services, international business, marketing or accounting to degree level.

A course spokeswoman said: "We are confident students will get a job because they will be trained in their disciplines through both the degree and the professional qualifications."

The courses costs £9,950 per year. If students fail to get a job they will get £2,500 back.

University students looking for accommodation are more concerned about internet access than location when it comes to choosing their digs. It is the first time that requirement has topped the National Student Housing Survey. It even beat pubs.
