Detectives removed from heist inquiry

Two detectives have been removed from the investigation into the £4million currency robbery from Heathrow after a bar room brawl.

Derek Steel and Andy Eaton, both detective constables in the Flying Squad, clashed in Jim Thompson's bar in Wimbledon. One member of staff at the bar said: "They were talking and then they started having a little bit of an argument."

The brawl took place on Tuesday night, the day after the daring raid at Heathrow. A police spokesman said: "They have both been issued with warnings."
