12 April 2012

The family of Chelsea striker Didier Drogba have been attacked by rebel fighters in the Ivory Coast.

A house owned by the 33-year-old's father Albert was set alight by opponents of recently deposed dictator Laurent Gbagbo.

Today one report claimed that Drogba's own villa in Abidjan was set on fire.
