Dr Matt Ridley

In Monday's extract of Alex Brummer's book, 'The Crunch', he said that Dr Matt Ridley had cashed in £1.2m worth of Northern Rock shares.


Dr Ridley has confirmed and we accept that he did not sell any shares while he was Chairman. We are happy to set the record straight.
