Elton to Grace TV show

13 April 2012

Pop legend Sir Elton John is making a cameo appearance in hit TV show Will And Grace.

The chart-topping star is among a batch of well-known names who appear in the award-winning comedy in the coming months.

Sir Elton plays a figurehead of the "gay mafia" in the show, in an edition which gets its UK premiere on October 29 on Living TV, and later repeated on Channel 4.

Other big names to appear in the series include Demi Moore and British actress Minnie Driver.

The new series about gay lawyer Will and his straight friend Grace begins on Living on September.

Sir Elton told how he once suffered an attack of diarrhoea as he sat at the piano playing a show in Paris.

"I had to rush off the stage - the band just thought I'd gone mental," he told NME.
