Eminem will make you crash

13 April 2012

Eminem's No.1 hit Lose Yourself is the song most likely to cause a car crash, according to a new survey. While listening to rap was most likely to trigger speeding and dangerous driving, there was a surprise entry in the top ten tunes likely to cause crashes - Beethoven's fifth symphony.

Pollsters found that, while rap topped the danger list, classical music was also likely to increase the chance of accidents because it induced a 'dream-like' state in drivers.

Other songs making the top ten included Mis-teeq's Scandalous and 21 Seconds by the So Solid Crew, according to the survey carried out to mark the release of a driving video game, Burnout2.

In a survey last week, the Cheeky Girls' blandly catchy dance hit The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) was voted the safest song to drive to.
