Executive's shock exit from SSL

13 April 2012

ONE of the top executives at Durex condoms-to-Scholl footwear group SSL has unexpectedly resigned.

Asia-Pacific managing director Steve Eastwood was one of the few remaining board members from the old guard before chief executive Brian Buchan came in.

His departure came as the group sold its bandages-to-surgical cream business for £55m to venture capitalist Apax.
