Ex-Foster's boss faces bankruptcy

FORMER brewing magnate John Elliott, the man who boasted of 'Fosterising' the world, is fighting to save his business reputation after being served with a second legal notice to pay A$1.43m (£600,000) owed to creditors of failed Australian company Water Wheel or face bankruptcy proceedings.

Elliott turned Foster's from a sleepy old firm into a multi-billion dollar conglomerate and gave the lager global status.
