Exhaustion 'affects my marriage'

Charlotte Cox is struggling to manage a new baby and her career.

She returned to work as head of marketing at a healthcare company in Wimbledon only six weeks after the birth of her second child, Jasper, now 10 months, and finds the combination of family life and work overwhelming.

She said: "I'm exhausted. I never get more than four hours' sleep a night."

Financial pressure meant Mrs Cox, 33, who earns ?50,000 a year, rather than paramedic husband James, who was on ?23,000 a year, went back to work.

Mr Cox stays at home in Weybridge to look after Jasper and Josephine, three. Mrs Cox's day starts at 6.30am and ends at about

9.30pm after the children go to bed - but she regularly wakes to feed Jasper.

Mrs Cox said: "Because I am constantly tired it has affected my relationship with James."
