Football boss Steve Bruce’s girl mugged

Wants to offer reward: Steve Bruce
12 April 2012

A Premier League manager wants to offer a reward for information about muggers who held his daughter at knifepoint at Chelsea Harbour.

Amy Bruce, whose father Steve runs Sunderland Football Club, was attacked by two men who had followed her on a motorbike as she left a restaurant.

They marked the 23-year-old's throat with a blade and threatened to cut her before stealing her watch, jewellery and handbag at 9.30pm last Friday.

Her father, 48, is liaising with police about the possibility of offering a "nice reward" to anyone who comes forward with information that leads to the arrest of the muggers. Hammersmith and Fulham Police are investigating.
