Four arrested in Aimee death probe

13 April 2012

Police investigating the death of a 15-year-old girl following a fight with a group of youths today rearrested four teenagers.

Aimee Wellock, who suffered from a serious medical condition, was discovered unconscious in a field just yards from her home in the Allerton area of Bradford earlier this month.

Soon after the incident detectives arrested a 15-year-old boy and three girls aged 15, 17 and 19.

They were released on bail pending further inquiries but rearrested this morning.

A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said they were being held at a police station in Bradford.

She added: "Inquiries are ongoing and there are no further details at present."
