POWER DIGGERZ

PlayStation

There are times when I just scratch my head in confusion at the Japanese game player and the games that float his/her boat. Take this, a smash hit East-wise, where you take control of a construction digger and either attempt to load sand onto the back of a lorry in record time, or bash in inanimate objects, such as cars, with your metal arm. Is it just me? Where's the fun? I tried to get excited about this, I really did. Gameplay is OK, but the controls for working your digger take some time to master, and by the time you have, you'll wonder why you bothered. (NP)
