Geena Davis has twins at 48

Actress Geena Davis has given birth to twin boys at the age of 48.

Mother and babies - named Kian William and Kaiis Steven - have left hospital and were said last night to be 'doing beautifully' at the family home in Los Angeles.

Miss Davis and her husband Reza Jarrahy, the 33-year-old surgeon she married in 2001, already have a twoyear-daughter, Alizeh Keshvar.

Miss Davis won the best supporting actress Oscar for her role as a kooky dog trainer in the 1988 film The Accidental Tourist.

But she is most famous for her starring role in the 1991 drama Thelma and Louise, for which she received a best actress nomination.
