Girl 'used mother's insulin to kill herself'

Tragedy: student Charlotte Wasey, 17
12 April 2012

A teenage girl killed herself with her mother's insulin days after splitting up from her boyfriend, it is believed.

Charlotte Wasey, 17, was found dead in her bedroom in Wallington, Surrey, on June 26. Two empty insulin containers and an insulin pen were in the room.

Her mother Samantha Martin, 44, believes Charlotte took illegal drug mephedrone, known as meow meow, at a party the night before, adding: "I'm scared what it has done to her."
