Is your smile flirty, wicked or full of sunshine? Are you a phoney Tony or afraid to smile?

According to a body language expert, all smiles can be defined by these five categories.

Peta Heskell believes they say much about our personality.

Sunshine Smilers such as Julia Roberts are the most genuine with their big, toothy grins and crinkly eyes. They are carefree and 'live for the moment', said Miss Heskell.

Phoney Tonys - named after the Prime Minister - have short-lived smiles through cold eyes and clenched teeth. They will 'do anything to present a good picture, even if it means being untrue to what they really believe'.

The Flirty smile is much warmer and involves the whole face. It says that a person is 'good fun but prefers others to make the first move'. Famous Flirtys include Cat Deeley and singer Rachel Stevens.

Wicked Smilers, who flare their nostrils and quiver their lips like Sir Sean Connery, have a 'great sense of fun - they're social animals'.

The 'I'm Afraid to Smile' type - such as Renee Zellweger - are quietly confident and keep their mouths shut. 'There's a lot going on behind our smiles,' said Miss Heskell, who conducted the study for Philips Oral Healthcare.
