Ground Zero offers anniversary deals

New York has begun a campaign to attract tourists to the Ground Zero area, four months before the 10th anniversary of the attack.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg said restaurant promotions and store discounts would celebrate the revival of the neighbourhood.

He denied the city was cashing in, saying: "We have to get people to come here so we can tell the story."
