GTL bags £290m Oz methanol job

BRITAIN's GTL Resources has won a A$700m (£290m) contract to build a methanol plant in Western Australia. The country's Resources Minister Ian Macfarlane said the plant would export methanol worth up to A$350m a year to Asia, from 2006. Building is due to begin in 2004.
