Honda hopes for US sales record

HONDA expects record motor sales in the US this year, an eighth consecutive rise. It is believed that the company sold 1.35m units in 2003, despite offering lower buyers' incentives than rivals.

For the first 11 months of the year, Honda's US sales rose 9.2% from the same period in 2002.
