Horror crash as driver flips car into front garden

A man was fighting for his life today after a car he was driving flipped and landed in the garden of a house.

Witnesses said a Toyota veered into a wall and hit a tree before landing on its roof in the front garden in Longmead Drive, Sidcup.

Firecrews had to cut two men free following the crash yesterday evening. The driver is in a critical condition in hospital and his passenger is stable. Tim Stock, who saw the crash, said the driver lost control on the bend.
