How to get the red-carpet treatment

12 April 2012

If you're too busy to send flowers, book theatre tickets or a cool restaurant, you need one of the new breed of "concierge" services. Here are some of note:

Entriga (0800 085 5907), run by Pier Smulders and Faisal Saigel, has a strict vetting procedure and won't tell us how much it charges, but if you get accepted it guarantees to open doors to all that is VIP. Quintessentially (ring 0870 850 8585 or visit www.quintessentially. com), run by Ben Elliot, Camilla Parker Bowles's nephew, has 2,500 members including Madonna, Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow, who pay £500 per year for bespoke travel, theatre tickets, film premieres, front-row seats at London Fashion Week, tables at the busiest restaurants - you name it, they can get hold of it for you.

Y-Club (ring 020 7928 5342 or visit www.yup.co.uk) will assign you a Lifestyle PA for £400 per year who will arrange anything, from finding a builder to booking a romantic weekend away. You will also get access to bars, clubs and restaurants. For an extra £150 a year, you will be notified of upcoming events and be able to bag tickets to glamorous launches and premieres.
