Jerry Lewis collapses at charity show

12 April 2012

Comedian Jerry Lewis, 76, was taken to hospital after collapsing backstage before his appearance in a charity show at the London Palladium.

The comic, who has been plagued by ill health including a serious lung disease, had been top of the bill for the High On Laughter concert in aid of drug charity Turning Point Scotland.
