Jon thinks Cameron is playing a cynical game
13 April 2012

Big Brother's Jon reckons Cameron is playing a cynical game in order to win the £70,000 prize.

He launched into another Diary Room rant about the Orkney fish trader, claiming he was conning the public by hiding his true personality.

The group's final task involves each housemate discussing their opinions in the Diary Room on a range of topics, including various moral dilemmas.

But Cameron announced that he would not be able to answer one of Sunday's questions - which included one about sex before marriage.

Jon told Big Brother: "There was a look, a brief unguarded look which Cameron gave at one point, where we were talking about the task, and he said he wouldn't be able to give an opinion on a subject, I can't remember what it was.

"Yet again I have to record the fact that I don't believe Cameron would be unable to talk about any subject in this Diary Room. I just think he would be unwilling to talk about it because it might alienate some of his demographic when it comes down to the final vote.

"So when I talk about people playing games in this house, that's an example of it. I do hope you caught that look on camera, it was incredibly telling."

Jon added: "He's a nice bloke, and I like him, that ought to be made clear. What I do not like is the way he holds himself back on a wide range of issues.

"I feel that he feels he would lose votes as a result. That I find unpalatable. If you look at the others, Ray and Scott in particular, then you would never find them doing that.

"It winds me up quite a bit. When people told me that it was impossible not to be themselves - that they would be found out after nine weeks - I think that Cameron is giving it a jolly good go."

Jon then left the Diary Room, telling Big Brother: "That's enough Cameron bashing for tonight."

The first questions announced by Big Brother yesterday were: Is there life on other planets? Is there life after death? How many dates are appropriate before you sleep with a new boyfriend/girlfriend?

In the Diary Room, Cameron was asked the question about how many dates are appropriate before you sleep with a new partner.

He grinned and replied: "I could not possibly answer that," before explaining he does not believe in sex before marriage. "Can't wait until I get married though," he laughed.

Cameron added that he did not like to ram his beliefs down other people's throats.

Ray was asked the same question in his Diary Room session and gave a very different answer to Cameron.

"It depends on how drunk you got her," he said.
After thinking it over, he added: "If she's a nice girl not a slapper ... about three or four dates."
