JT: We've got what it takes to win title

Confident: captain John Terry has his eye on a Premier League and Champions League double

John Terry believes Chelsea are poised for a title-winning run as they prepare for two crucial derbies in a week.

The 1-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday put the Blues in touch with the top-two and victory at Spurs on Wednesday will leave Avram Grant's men level on points with Arsenal in second place.

The Gunners then go to Stamford Bridge on Easter Sunday and, with leaders Manchester United facing a tough match with Liverpool on the same day - after taking on Bolton in mid-week - there is the tantalising prospect of Chelsea hitting top spot.

Terry said: "Some people have been saying we can't handle the pressure in the big games. We'll see what they are saying at the end of the Premier League and the Champions League."

Chelsea's rise has been mirrored by Arsenal's run of four successive League draws, including Saturday's against Middlesbrough. Skipper William Gallas today rounded on his players for lacking the fight being showed by Sunday's opponents from west London.

He said: "We need to understand what it takes to become champions if we want that trophy."
