'Kidnapped' from hospital

Metro13 April 2012

This is Kristian Walker, a 12-year-old tsunami victim believed to have been kidnapped from the hospital where he was being treated.

The Swedish youngster was led out of the building near Koh Lak, one of the worst-hit resorts in Thailand.

Hospital officials told his parents the boy was snatched by a European-looking man with a moustache and a red shirt.

Police fear he may have been taken by paedophiles using the Indian Ocean disaster to prey on orphaned or vulnerable children.
