Kleeneze washes hands of ailing DMG

DOOR-to-door cleaning goods seller Kleeneze today unveiled a £36m pre-tax loss in the year to April and axed its dividend after a £27.4m hit on the sale of its troubled DMG unit. Premier Direct is buying the arm - which sells gifts and books in offices, and which cost Kleeneze £31.5m - for £4.1m.
