Lawyers seize Abu Hamza’s home to pay bills

Abu Hamza's home has been seized

Hate preacher Abu Hamza's west London house has been seized and will be sold to pay his £300,000 legal aid bill.

Hamza, 51, who is serving a seven-year sentence for inciting murder and race hatred, claimed the home in Greenford belonged to his sister in Egypt.

But lawyers for the Legal Services Commission were able to prove Hamza, formerly the imam at Finsbury Park mosque, is the real owner of the £280,000 property and were granted a seizure order.
