Man arrested over body in suitcase

A 20-year-old man was arrested today following the discovery of a body in a suitcase, police said.
The body of Jagdip Najran, a 26-year-old student, was found in a suitcase in Bethnal Green, east London, on Friday morning.
A post-mortem revealed Mr Najran, from Bethnal Green, died from head injuries.
Detectives arrested the 20-year-old man in Blackpool in Lancashire today.
He was due to be taken to an east London police station for further questioning.
An inquest is due to take place tomorrow at St Pancras Coroner's Court.
