Man found dead outside school in weekend of shootings

A man has been killed and two others left needing life-saving surgery after three separate shootings in London.

In the first incident, a man in his twenties was found dead outside Stonebridge Primary School in Harlesden in the early hours of Sunday. He died of a single gunshot wound. It is believed he was attending a private party on the school grounds.

The victim was known to police, who suspect the shooting was gang-related. Hours after the man's body was found a 17-year-old boy was shot in John Ruskin Street, Camberwell at 4.40pm. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and was understood to be stable today.

Three hours after the second shooting a man in his early twenties was shot outside the Dolphin Express cab office in Old Kent Road, Peckham.

Early reports suggest he was hit after teenagers fired a gun indiscriminately.

No arrests have been made in connection with any of the shootings.
